The uninstall does not remove the plugins or the folder in which they reside. I always do a complete uninstall before any Pro Tools update.

If you are concerned, you can always copy the plugins...

This update had zero negatives here. At least 'so far'. The previous update took out my email, but a couple of registry hacks fixed it.
