That's really weird: I never had this issue with PT8.

I think that's it. I just muted my armed track, and I can still hear my guitar (assuming from my Focusrite). Now I have to figure out how to send it via PT only.

I've figured out a semi-solution to this problem, but have no idea WHY it happens.

Basically, when I have TrackInput Monitor OFF, if I hit play or record, my instrument track's VOLUME drops...

Hey filosofem: are you referring to the style editor within Strike? I was talking about making my edits in the instrument track within Pro Tools where I recorded from the Strike plug-in.

I just called Digi and asked them that same question - the answer is NO. I don't understand how they figured it was a good idea to edit one event at a time instead of ALL at the same time.

I figured out what the problem was: it's just the way it's synced with Pro Tools. I had to change the settings in the settings menu of STRIKE so it played my pattern when i wanted to play it.
