I know PT doesn't like to share a device with other windows software. But while mixing in 48k or 96k, I often need to hear things through monitor speakers like iTunes, other references, other...

I tried that already, but it didn't help.
Actually if i switch to 48k in Mbox Control Panel, the advanced menu gives me to choose 16bit 48k or 24bit 48k. So it seems Mbox Control Panel and Windows...

I'm in a situation that I need to hear windows software(like itunes, youtube and etc) on mbox 3 in 48k and 96k. I was able to set mbox 3 as default device and hear things in 44k, but I can't use it...
