I do not know the satelite system so my comment might be useless but as a general comment; MTC has a variable offset, LTC is spot on.
But LTC can only be used with either the dolby atmos production...

Be aware though, that mtc gives an offset of about 1/3 of a frame.
LTC (the quite convoluted way of using a timecode track) seems to be totally spot on.

Routing MTC internally works fine for me using the IAC bus.
Don't forget to go to peripherals to assign mtc to the IAC bus.

But using AVB you do actually get 64 channels right?
Avid consoles connect to PT using AVB and do get 64 channels.
I understood this is a workaround to get more i/o.

In my experience this happens when the audio in the h264 is compressed.
If they can export a video with wav audio you should be fine.
(And leave it unimpressed when you transcode)

Except that the 99 upgrade now lets you keep PT10 and 11.
It seems that avid has reversed their decision and I got my old licenses back :)

Apparently it's some IT problem, they're sorting it out in the meanwhile they gave me a temporary PT10/11 license.

So all's good!

I'm still confused by the license scheme that seems to change...

yes, sorry, using the word subscription was confusing.

It was the upgrade I bought, I contacted Avid through facebook and they're investigating, I hope to get my PT10 license back,...

when I updated to PT 12 with one year update plan (from PT10/11) I lost my existing PT10/11 license on my Ilok.

This was not clearly (if at all) communicated but okay..

In fact, all options and schemes were very confusing to me anyway.

I very much dislike that I am not able to open PT10 on an older...
