Wow, very nice configuration, just be aware from Quantum drives, I had bad expiriences in the past with quantum drives used for Audio, you know, just take care, segates and maxtors have more better...

I didn't tried the upgrade to gigastudio, cause it's not released in my country yet, I can't wait to test it, but I think I should also upgrade my PC system to run the promissed polyphony...

Those yamaha's long suffix are annoying.
The drive I have is an internal Yamaha CDRW reads 24x, write 8x, re-write 4x and it's SCSI controlled (adaptec 2490 UW). That's all what i know about it.......

I use a PC (Pentium III 450, 256ram, ECHO Gina soundcard) dedicated to Gigasampler.
I like Gigasampler a lot.

The PROS:
-you can really load a 1.8 gig piano a long with a 300 MB drum...
