Re: Windows XP upgrade to Windows 7 64 BIT

I'm about to install on a win7 system. I have all my sessions on a glyph external. I'm a bit confused about the process. I have an Mbox 2 mini. So is this right. 1) install 8.0, upgrade to 8.0.3...

Re: Do you want PDC: Fill the Feature Request Form!

Isn't this feature one of the selling points for upgrading to HD?

Re: What is the best way to revert back to 8.01?

I had problems with 8.0.3, white noise blasts from time to time. I uninstalled 8.0.3, re-installed 8.0 and then updated to 8.0.1. No more white noise blasts.

Re: MP3 crash

It is hardly worth the trouble to purchase and license the MP3 option. Just use iTunes.

Re: Open Letter to Avid/Digidesign

Man that all sucks.

I have a HP laptop that I use with a Mbox 2 Pro at school. It has a built in FW jack on the side. I have to use a Cool Gear bus card FW adaptor (TI) because the built in...

Re: Drivers to Mbox 2 Mini and Windows 7, 64 bit

I think you are in uncharted territory here. What DAW are you using with the MBox? Maybe it isn't setup for window 7 64bit. Or it can't interface with the digi drivers. That is the reason I...

Re: Digi002 running with Digimax FX problems

Well, here is how I understand it. The digi 02-03 has 4 mic pres (8 on the 003+) and 1 ADAT in and 1 ADAT out and 1 stereo spdf in and 1 stereo spdf out. ADAT is 8 channel so you have the 8 that is...

Re: Digi002 running with Digimax FX problems

Is that a Focusrite OctoPre? Anyway, if you are just using it as a pre-amp it will be fine. If you are using a digi 002 with a digimax you have expanded your io as far as you can. Adding another...

Re: Drivers to Mbox 2 Mini and Windows 7, 64 bit

This is what I think you'll have to do. 1) upgrade to 8.0, download 8.0.3 update and download 8.0.4b driver update. As for the particular install directions you'll have to follow what is included...

Re: The operating system held off interrupts for too long...

Here is a strange thing about this error. I have an Mbox 2 Pro (firwire) at work and an Mbox 2 mini at home. The firewire unit gives me this error at least once a day, the USB never does. Both are...

Re: Digi002 running with Digimax FX problems

You have your Digimax as master now and the 002 is syncing with it. This is fine as the Digimax as a good clock.

Re: Warning:go back to 8.01

That is pretty common with any DAW program. Go to any forum and you'll read the same sort of stuff.

Re: Digi New Hardware?

If you want 24 track + io you are not going to get it with LE or M-powered. It's 18 io max for both systems. When I need more that 16 inputs which is rare I use a pr Firestudios and 2 digimax's...

Re: Digi002 running with Digimax FX problems

Set the 002 as master (internal) and the Digimax as slave (external) it sounds like both are set to internal now and are not syncing.

Re: Daisy Chain Firewire or go with USB?

Couple things you might try. I had a similar problem with a FW card and a Presonus Firestudio. What I ended up doing was to uninstall and then reinstall. When I reinstalled I used the bus card...

Re: Pro tools 8.03 white noise bursts...

I re-installed 8.0.1 a couple of days ago. I'm still getting a blast but not near as often as with 8.0.3. Did anybody ever get it with 8.0?

Re: Suitable Dell Workstation

Problem is, LE 7.4 won't run on win7 and the DELL XPS 9000 doesn't come with any other OS. You'll have to install XP or Vista 32 bit yourself.
