By all means - use all the distortion plugs and external stuff you like, use it with or without HEAT (without - your loss).

You have missed the point here, HEAT is not intended as a usual plug-ins, its like having different mixerboards. You cant really decide you only want SSL-sound on some channels when you on a 4000 can...

Agree, nothing soundwise like Phoenix. Just did a quick accoustic mix with heat - what a difference... (never liked Phoenix much - but thats an other story..)

I actually think its affecting the...
