Thanks for the advice.

I'm pinning it on the Windows update service tbh. The system is solid otherwise - no bsods or drop outs in 12 months of running PT pretty much daily. Haven't experienced it...

No, it's Lynx's own ASIO USB driver. I've asked the same question on their forum too.

I've just changed it so that the Lynx is not used for recording or playback by Windows - all the system sounds come out of the PC's onboard sound card. I had it set up like that anyway,...
