If not why not an i7 based iMac? It costs the same - 2199.00.

That's a 27 inch display iMac vs the 15 inch display MacBook pro. 27 inch is a lot of real-estate for PT...

For what it is worth they are actively working on the snow leopard drivers (i am in the beta program, lastest appears to be working well for me)

Maybe more important is that I sent a "pre-sales"...

Thanks for the reply.

It is interesting that you run your Poco in a Magma chassis too - I will have to try moving mine to a chassis to see how that goes.

Ah no, I THINK I HAVE A WORKING SYSTEM.

With the new box, I got a new CARD too.

It seems like the OLD CARD is the problem.

The new card passes analog audio to both of the 001 interfaces.

Hello Chuck: I had done the PRAM and PMU reset yesterday with no results.

At your suggestion I just tried the Open Firmware reset - no luck there either.

Does not look good for the inputs either.

Line level signal, fader all the way up in protools, meters barely register.

On play back a tiny amount of sound, more noise than original signal. ...

I/O setup looks good, I am using a freshly installed copy of "Salvation Demo" to test.

Hello Ben: I just finished testing the digital outs so here is what we have:

Line Out = No Audio
Main Out = No Audio
Headphones = No Audio

ADAT Out = YES
SPDIF Out = YES

I just got a mbox 2 mini and had the same problem. Here are the relevant docs on the digi site to help you fix it:
