PT 12.4, used as an audiosuite, I'll get a crash 60% of the time.
I'm done using it.
Waves Soundshifter with Commit works like a charm and sounds better

Stereo IRs in Space

Would any of you know how to use Stereo IR's that I downloaded from the internet? Space only sees one side.. L or R depending on which wav selection you click. It's annoying.

I had to go back to 12.4 after trying out 12.5 for a few hours.
All my songs would open fine, play fine, record fine but they would crash pro tools 12.5 on close. All songs! Only on Closing the...

I just download VIP Bundle 3.3 and none of my old sessions will see the Plug&Mix plugins I had in there under 3.2. If I downgrade back to 3.2, all is good. I'm staying on 3.2. Thanks

SInce adding this bundle which indeed is really cool. I think my pro tools 11.2 and 11.2.1 crashes WAY more.
I get a crash every 30 minutes...

I get about 6 crashes a day. All related to different things I'm doing.
Just closing a session will crash.
I send a bug report every time but...

Well, I actually did insert the plugins but I never actually "try " them.
So I put in a 7k sample delay and guess what. Even though the numbers don't show anything, well the plugin actually does...

I'll tell you why.

Because ADC doesn't work in PT11 with an HDX card when you are recording. The track you record to isn't in sync with the rest of the session.

Why is it that when I'm using Time adjuster AAX in PT 11.2 my delay samples don't change on a track?

If I have 2 tracks, one with 4 plugins that has 2500 sample delay on it and another one with no...

By the way, HDX will never work.
If all plugins were to go DSP then we wouldn't have enough DSP power with the HDX cards. Avid is full of crap when they say HDX is more powerfull than TDM.

Autotune AAX Live is a joke like anything AAX Native. I've been using pro tools TDM ofr over 10 years recording A list artist and moved on to PT 11 HDX.

Wow, an hour later, just got word from Metric Halo and they were able to re create the issue and are working on it. Niiice.

I'm pissed at Metric halo.
My DSP AAX Channel Strip does not work
50% of the time it will be in bypass mode even though it's not bypassed.
The Native version works fine but the DSP AAX does not...

Yes, that was the "other" solution.
I try not to use Quickpunch as I hate thinking that I'm always recording to my hard drives.
Another work around is to option command click on the lower latency...

I spend 3 hours on the phone with Avid to figure out why my PT11 HDX was out of sync when recording to a track (during pre roll). Which by the way...
