Re: It's been over 2 months since 9.0.5, where is full Lion compatibility?
Bump - we're now over 3 months without an update to fix all the ridiculous problems 9.0.5 has caused with Lion. Avid, are you really going to let us hang and force us to buy 10 to fix these issues? ...

Anyone? Bueller? Or are we going to be strung along and then forced to upgrade to 10 for full Lion compatibility?

Re: 10.7.1 + 9.0.5 + iChat = Crash on Startup
None of these suggestions are working for me. And now PT 10 is out and they want another $299 for an upgrade? How about a 9.0.6 so that all the Lion bugs are fixed first please?

Re: 10.7.2 + Pro Tools 9.05
it works. Of course, my PT system (9.0.5) refuses to launch, but after a restart of the system, it works fine. Acts the same 10.7, 10.7.1 and now 10.7.2. Hoping 9.0.6 fixes this.

9.0.5/Lion crash on startup has nothing to do with plug-ins.
I installed a brand new hard drive, installed Lion on it fresh, installed PT 9.0.5 with no 3rd party plugs. So literally, there's nothing on this hd except what Lion installs and PT 9.0.5. PT still...

Re: Pro Tools 9.0.5 crashing just after startup
I removed all my plugs and it still crashes. Anyone know how to trash preferences in LION? The pre-lion directions state "user -> your name -> library". But in Lion under "User -> your name" there...

Re: Pt9.0.5
I've got it working then as soon as I restart the comp or turn off and back on, PT fails. Scans the plugs, hangs, then quits.

Re: to Lion or NOT to Lion
Definitely do not update to lion if you want a working version of PT. 9.0.5 on 10.7.X is unusable.

Re: 9.0.5 won't start up on OS X Lion
I actually just fixed it, here's how. I went into Time Machine and restored back to before I put 9.0.5 on, then reinstalled 9.0.5 and now it works again. For how long? who knows! I'll keep you...

Re: 9.0.5 won't start up on OS X Lion
I'm having the exact same problem. I updated to 9.0.5. and installed Lion, everything worked fine. I then updated to 10.7.1, everything still worked fine and even finished a mastering session using...
