In order for Pro Tools to even run on your computer, you need an iLok. Its the red plastic USB device that came with the software.

Ok, so I removed my control surface setting (Axiom 49), and it reverted back to sounding normal, however when I opened another instance of XPand2!, the sounds changed back to a low cuttoff again.......

That has happened to me before a few times. I honestly have no idea what causes it, but restarting the application seems to fix it.
