I'm on 9.0.4 now. I went up from 9.0.2 too, and I guess I'll go back to 9.0.2 and stay there, on the safe path. I'll report the results after the fact.

BTW, input count is not an issue. I use a Tascam US1641 interfacce to record 14 analog tracks at once and edit in PT.

A great reverb because of its sound, ease of use, and very low cpu usage and latency is Lexicon Pantheon. In fact it's a VST, but with the FXpansion VST to RTAS adapter, I use it without any hassle....
