OK, I am a dunce. In the general tab, there's an option to hide the soft key/transport controls. All is now well, sorry to waste your times and appreciate the help!!!!!

No, I have no problem with the hardware surfaces. I still have no softkeys or transport controls on the Avid Control iPad App.

They appear if I start the app on the iPad in standalone mode,...

I removed both surfaces, and still nothing. I reconnected and they're back.

I have an artist control and artist transport connected. I tried disconnecting both hardware units, and still no good.

I would like to use the app to replace the control.... Sorry, can't...

This may or may not help... Upon upgrading to PT 2019.10, some sessions mysteriously would crash while opening. I'd get as far as Restoring Tracks, and it would crash. I suspected a plug conflict,...
