I've been running ProTools LE 7.3 -- OSX 10.4.11 -- on an old beater Titanium G4 Powerbook for over a year now.

Performance was passable up to a certain number of tracks...

G5 - Adding an Internal ATA drive

Hi.

Having found external drives somewhat unstable I was looking to install a new ATA drive (or drives) in my Power Mac G5.

Can anyone recommend a good internal ATA? Are Glyphs prettty good?

Hi, once again fishing for opinions. I'm a big fan of outboard analog effects, and generally prefer mic-ing an amplifier to amp simulators.... still I'm sure I'll be using ProTool plug-ins on...
