Hey guys,

Don't know if I'm crazy or dumb, but I have a session just MIDI and Kontakt on some Auxes in it. Very simple. I change the tempo and the midi tracks disappear and what was bar 1 is now...

Any cheaper solution than a Digital 192? The only other things I know are the apogee and lynx IOs. Is there another HD compatible interface with ADAT I/O?

Might be a bug...as far as I know Avid has never addressed the clicks added when using fades in EA either...frustrating.

Quick HD question. Can you add a non-Avid device to PTHD for some extra I/O? I need to add some ADAT ins on an HD3 rig and it'd be great to not have to spring for a Digital 192.

Do you have TL Space on an ilok? If so, just download the installer from Avid's site and install it. For whatever reason PT9 removes it during install.

Any specific patches you like? I use the Band Horns in Kontakt 4 and they have a certain quality to them that is kinda nice, but I have to work them hard to get them to sounds remotely realistic....

You can't monitor the track with plugins when LLM is engaged. Otherwise you can use it all the time. If you're using something like Guitar Rig you won't hear the effects, or if your trying to record...

LE is driving me nuts...I work on HD a lot(full time pro engineer), but the LE rig I have at home is just terrible....I'm getting tons of Lost Communication errors, H/W buffer errors, etc. Limited...

The Aux solution works. You can monitor a track input while playing back. I use this for talkback all the time. It'd be nice for Digi to add the input monitoring HD has, but I doubt it'll happen any...

Kind of disappointing to hear that...I though we could use these control surfaces to automate anything that can be automated. Seems silly I can use a fader on volume, but not plugin...

Oh...well that would explain it! hahah...seems like you should be able to assign the fader to control anything, no? Even MIDI info (pitch bend, CCs, etc)? If it is indeed true the faderport can't do...
