Re: Mac Pro mid2012 12 or 6 core for PT2018

I also upgraded my 2009 Mac Pro to a 3.46 12-core.
I have to say I wasn't completely happy with the performance boost but I also work with a lot of VI's and CPU intensive plug-ins like Acustica...

Re: Where can I find a download for 12.4??

Thanks Drew.
That's the thing , I'm not on a paid support plan and I certainly don't want to pay a "per incidence" just for this.

Curious if anyone else has gone through this and if they were...

Re: NoiseBursts_PT 9 and Reaper via Rewire

I figured this out in case it's of help to anyone else:

That was...

Re: best method for converting session to higher sample rate

Thanks Albee

I will try out this method.
As far as why I'm doing this, I have drums tracked at 44.1k but may want to track vocals at 96k. We're also doing a bit of outboard processing so the...

Anyone done tests with this?

What's the real story? Is there a marked improvement with midi performance in big sessions or is this something more subtle?

Re: Quad g5 and 002 almost unusable

Lets face it...PT LE and a G5 quad ( multi processors) are a buggy venture right now... Digi obviously has a lot on their plate and are trying to get PT LE "fixed" with all of the CS updates.

Who...

would putting Collosus and the other NI / East West Kompakt plug-ins into the UNUSED Plug-ins folder, help with session stability?

Re: G5 Quad_any news on being qualified???

also...would having Colossus just residing in the plug-ins folders cause problems?

Or is it only a problem when the plug-in is brought up in a session

-thanks,
