Re: AAX Instrument Plug-Ins dropping from Instrument Track

From the original post author:

I neglected to add, for clarification, that all other plugs-ins on said tracks (EQ, Comps, verbs, etc) all continue to work just fine in their original insert...

AAX Instrument Plug-Ins dropping from Instrument Track

Ok; this one's driving me nuts:

In PT11.3.1 HD each AAX instrument plug-in (i.e Grand, Xpand2, DB33, etc.) installed on an Instrument Track fails to initialize when a session is re-opened. All it...

C|24 installation

This one's a bit off the wall, but here goes:

The C|24 Guide states: "C|24 can be set on a level table top or mounted in a console or desk."

I'm wondering if the word "level" dictates here.

Cool Re: 11R Firmware 2.0 upgrade - looking for an internet workaround

Many thanks to all who responded.

There is an internet-connected computer in the same room, though not too portable . . . I guess a combination of long USB cables/hubs may make the crossing!

Cool 11R Firmware 2.0 upgrade - looking for an internet workaround

Hi to all!

Was just about to make the leap to the 11 Rack Expansion Pack, but decided to read the FAQ from Sticky first. That raised a question that has put the brakes on the whole program!

Re: HD Native on Win7 - 9094 & 9129 errors

Hi, Aaron
The new Avid HD I/O 16x16 analog
Session sample rate: 88.2
Playback engine usually at 1024, with a bump to 2048 when the error message suggests to increase buffer size.
Not sure how to...

Re: HD Native on Win7 - 9094 & 9129 errors

Hi, Hobo Wan Kenobi
Thanks for the quick reply to my post.
Have just been to the BIOS and noticed that the speedstep feature was already disabled; was not able to locate any reference to the CPU...

Cool HD Native on Win7 - 9094 & 9129 errors

Was just wondering if anyone's using the HD Native card on Win7/64 running PT 8.5 HD and is also experiencing a slew of 9094 and 9129 errors during routine playback and recording? The error text (the...

Rear mounted phantom power switch on Control 24

Clearly, the placement of the 48V phantom power switches on the BACK of the Control 24 represents an ergonomic design flaw. There; now that I've got that off my chest, has anyone attempted (with...

Re: Uncommanded banking of tracks on Control 24

Thanks, Digi, for getting involved.
The ethernet option only shows the Control 24.
Yes, I do (did) have a MIDI controller hooked up, the Axiom 25. Didn't even consider that may be the problem...

Cool Re: Uncommanded banking of tracks on Control 24

A quick update to my original post:
Looks like the channels are banking in groups of 8, as if the software thinks its dealing with an eight fader board. So, if the 14th channel is selected, the...

Cool Function keys on Control 24

Has anyone using a Control 24 ever figured out (and, subsequently, mapped) what the function keys actually do? Since upgrading to PT LE 8.XX I'll look over there every once in a while and see the F10...

Re: channel bar scroll?

Yes . . . I've also had the session lock up and subsequently crash in PT8.0cs3 after a rather benign nudge operation attempt on the Control 24. Bug alert, indeed! Try this one: all channel strips...

Re: Uncommanded banking of tracks on Control 24

Thanks Albee1952
I'm assuming that what you're suggesting is to uncheck all the boxes in the preferences sub-menu and then exiting/restarting ProTools. Yes?

Uncommanded fader banking since PT 8.0 upgrade

Whenever a plug-in is assigned to a track the channel becomes automatically selected and the whole...
