losing the plot. Why is PT such a nightmare when doing anything!

installing from pt8 and upgrading worked!
very odd, something like what your suggesting must have happened when I did the original install

I know im not the first person to have this but ive tried all the fixes I can find on the site!.
ok heres the state of play.
Had PT8.0.4 installed with Digi 003 , windows 7, all working no probs....

you can get the 64bit drivers from the same link gruddlebug posted.
Follow the instructions, download the template and import it into the enigma sw.

1. HyperControl technology requires an Axiom Pro “personality” file to be present in one of the Pro Tools sub-folders.
