It has been quantified that latency doesn't affect most musician's timing until about 7ms. And it seems to me that Latency isn't even an issue at all if you monitor through a good old fashioned...

Yes, I second that! Go with the Ecrix tape backup and Retrospect. It is rock solid and you will never have to wonder.

I picked mine up a few months ago and have backed up 12 projects on it so far...

DirectConnect was trying to connect with the B4. Sessions have returned to normal.
