So I wrote avid, for those interested, the bug has been logged with reference PT-244050 and will be fixed for the upcoming release early next year.

Meanwhile, stick to 2018.4 for those who use...

Amazing and at the same time SO ANNOYING.

It is not in the Change log as a 'known issue' either, are we sure OP had this recognised as a bug (and AVID doesn't consider this a "feature")? Can OP...

New version is out - 2018.10, but in the change log I cannot find this fixed - can someone confirm it has been fixed?
