After trying everything, I did the LOAD FROM HARDWARE on the Safire UI and it totally did the trick. Thanks for the tip.

when I try to run the audio midi setup on my mac it won't run and reccomends that I remove any new drivers. I Have done so and it still won't run. Even worse though, is that protools wont boot up....

When I play back a midi track I created a while ago with a key part re-routed to the DB 33 that came with Protools 8 I hear a crackling noise. I only hear it on playback though, not when Im playing....

In fact, I see now that at 24/96 I have a max buffer of 2048 and a min of 64 on my 002. That is a shame if its a misprint. But still PT8 is worth the the price

In the "Whats new in PT8" document It says that the max H/W buffer size for use with DIG002 at 48k is 2048. However when I go to my preferences it still lists 1024 as the max. am I missing...
