If all you need is a rig for HD2 PCI, why don't you just get an HP Z400 workstation and call it a day? It's Avid approved for HD2 with Pro Tools HD9, is plug and play with your cards, features...

Interesting you guys can use 10.5.8 with 7.4.2. I'll give it a try when this project is done, and hopefully it doesn't mess things up too much....

1) Any brand name USB hub will do just fine. A hub isn't really an integral part of the input path, nor will a "better quality"...

After literally, 8 hours and two evenings, I finally got it working.

Resolution: Plug MBOX into the USB port that is not on...
