thanks for the reply. Muting the track mutes it correctly, so I don't hear the bleed through in the right channel either. I don't have any plugins running on the Master Fader track...

Issue sorted. Reformatted MacBook and went back to Mountain Lion with Pro Tools 11. Everything is working perfectly again. Crisis averted!

Turning the mix knob on either of the two interfaces does nothing. The signal is the same at minimum, 12 o'clock and at maximum dial. Zooming in didn't show any signal either.
