Norton Utitilies is great for optimizing/defragmenting your hard drive.
Drive setup in your Utilities folder can help you when formatting. you can also use Drive setup to partition your ATA drive...

ProTools 5.0 does not offer PowerMix. The latest version of PT that offers powermix is either 4.3.1 or 4.3.2
