Ok.

I said I was done with this issue, but..... I lied.

Is it to much of a hassle to run the software sampler as a standalone unit rewired to protools? I know it isn't ideal, but I know...

So this has come up several times & I see there is no good answer for why Avid chose to go the way they did. Not only did Cakewalk & Steinberg & Reaper find a way to make 32 bit plugs work in a 64...

Honest question..... Why didn't they come up with a work around? They invested the time to allow PT10 to access more than 4GBs of addressable memory right?

& I've seen many a 64 bit application...
