I have an intel i7 cpu with win 7 ultimate 64bt sp1 and Fast Track Pro.

I am trying to figure out which version of pro tools I should be using.

Will pro tools 9 work good on this...

I guess I will install XP on my machine tomorrow and see how it goes....

Because I am having this issue on the desktop and not the laptop leads me to believe this is an issue with my choice of OS, FTP, and the intel i7.

Thanks for the tip, I just disabled that in the bios and am still having the same issue.

I turned the fast track pro off and reverted to my normal soundcard just for a minute (so I could listen to music) I noticed the problem is still persisting.

What kind of computer issue would...

What's interesting about this noise cut out is it happens even when I'm watching youtube videos.

So this is an issue with the Fast Track Pro.

Does anyone know how to solve it? Drivers are...

I am running windows vista ultimate sp1 32bit on a Intel core i7 with 4GB Ram

Also Pro Tools 7.4 with a Fast Track Pro.


Yesterday I had this set up on my laptop, and everything sounded...
