Had the same issue a week ago. Reinstalled PT and plugins ( intermittently testing pro tools in between their installs). It's the only thing that fixed the issue. Now working with all the latest...

So I can now change the buffer sizes again.. Windows was using the 003 but other sound sources need to be connected to the machine in order for me to choose it as a default...

Hi all,

I've recently switched to a windows machine as my 9YO Mac Pro was no longer working.

I use pro tool 12.7.1 and a Digi 003 Rack.
The windows machine is not very new but has an i7 2600,...

Having the same issue.

I've just spoken with Avid support.
The person wasn't aware of the issue.
Said it should be alright as long as it's not affecting the audio and educated me on what...

Updated EuControl from 3.3 to 3.3.1
That fixed the issue with Pro Tools Control now working properly.

Hopefully this helps someone else out.

So basically, If I only use the firewire cable, I can only the either the 003 with pro tools or with OSX?

The computer is a mac pro.
firewire 800 from the mac pro to the 003.
Optical cable from the mac pro out to digital port (in) on the 003
Selecting the digital output on the sound...
