Welp, I got PT 9.0.6 working on ML 10.8.2.

I had to install full 9.0.2 first, then 9.0.6 update.

I received an error when trying to install full 9.0.5 first.

I just purchased a new (June 2012) Macbook Pro, and am wanting to install PT9.

I see that the 9.0.5 Full Installer is in Public Beta mode...

What I would like to know is, is this version...

I think I may have found the solution.
At least, it seems to be the solution for me.

1) Open your device manager
2) Under IEEE 1394 Bus host controllers, double click your firewire card...

Okay, so I ran the 9.0.2 update again and it now works. Must be a Windows 7 SP1 and PT 9.0.1 thing. :'(

Why would you be limited to 48kHz doing that? Is that a limitation of using optical?

The licenses I have on my iLok are as follows:

Pro Tools 9
SoundReplacer

Is there supposed to be a specific one for Creative Collection??

With the multi-tool active, you hold the cursor over the top corner of a region and the fade icon pops up. You simply click and drag the fade over the region.

Yes, I ticked the box to install them.

I also "modified" the install later and "re-installed" the same thing. Xpand, Mini-Grand, and whatever other instruments that are in that collection do not...

All of the boxes were checked to install (though I do not remember "Creative Collection content" being one of them), except for the one for Avid video hardware (Mojo, etc).

I might have it sitting...

Do you guys know how I can get the Mini Grand.big file I need? I have searched my drive for the file, but it seems to have vanished upon installing PT9 (upgraded from PT8 LE).

That chart is very confusing... whoever made it is terrible at his or her job.

The thing is, there are no horizontal lines dividing the differing 003/002 interfaces, so the checkmarks there apply...

I just returned from RadioShack where I picked up some RCA and 8mm connectors.. so I'm still going to use your method for when I'm running a non-41 kHz session and want to listen to Windows sounds. :P

Big Crouton, by gosh it worked. I used to have to do that in order to open a session with a 48 kHz sample rate, because other apps were latching onto the 002 and keeping it at 41 kHz. I guess they do...
