i had to mix on an LE system recently (PTLE 6.9), and was suprised to find that if i added an aux for an effect return, i'd get an error message saying there were 'more tracks than available voices'...

only somewhat related, how do i get midi from pro tools to live? i'm successfully rewiring and can run them in sync, but when in slave mode all of live's midi prefs are disabled. it doesn't show up...

hi shirk.

it most likely stems from your midi -> usb input chain, and not the mac or hd rig.

i'm now having the same exact problem reported here 6 months ago. my work drive is a fw drive, so i don't think it's SATA related. doesn't it seem more about ownership/permissions? i've jumped...

tried both to no avail. attempting to import any track with dense editing & xf's results in -9035. other tracks are fine.

1G ram in the HD G4
768M in the LE G4

if only i could import just the...

edit drum kit on hd system (5.3.1/9.2.2) - beat detective, lots of playlists, crossfades, the whole nine yards.

try to open session on le system (6.0.1/10.2.6). dreaded -9035...

So, now that cmd-trim also temporarily engages slip mode, how does one trim boundaries between two regions whilst remaining in grid mode?
