Re: The Downside of Mac Intel on Pro Tools

I know the translation from PowerPC to Mactel will take longer, but this is a fact with OSX in general. I personally hate how with every OSX release, especially the major ones, there's a chance that...

Re: Does LE sound differnt than HD

You should do a mix of a tune on an LE system, without using any inserts/effects (only level and panning), and bounce it.

Then bring the whole session over to a HD system. Open it up, and do...

Re: CAS Avid/Digi post sound seminar

Thanks Frank!

Were the original video downloads from the CAS website bigger and better (I remember thinking they were 700MB a piece for some reason). I downloaded the ones from Coffey Sound, but...

Re: Hide Pro Tools 7.0 Keyboard Shortcut???

I did not know that. I'm always quitting programs in that application switcher, but now I wonder what other key commands you can use in it.

And I did not know that one either! I'm going to...

Re: PERFECT pitched vocals...

Use Auto-Tune's Graphical Mode, and ignore the note reference lines. Just use your ear and shift curves till it sounds perfectly in-tune. It might not LOOK in-tune, but that's okay.

I've read...

Re: Hide Pro Tools 7.0 Keyboard Shortcut???

If you Option - Click on a non-Pro Tools window (there should be a little sliver of the Finder desktop on the left hand side), this will hide Pro Tools. It's probably just as fast to do it this way...

Re: feature request - \".BWF\" suffix recognition

Re: does anyone have experience with SoundReplacer
