Hey! This worked! I got my Command 8 back.

Here's how to trash Preferences on a Mac:

Open a finder window, and click the Go menu. Hold down the Option key and Library appears as a selection.

Ugh. This same thing just happened to me. Under MIDI interfaces, where I normally select Command 8, Receive Port 1, Send Port 1, 8 channels it offers nothing under Receive, but still has Send...

Really? Worked like a charm for me- Close ProTools- Then go to that page- When you go to that page, click on the "AAE Prefs 11+" box on the right, third one down. Then when you re-open PT, it should...

My MAN! I just trashed the AAE one, because I was guessing that's where the crappines was located, and KOWZINGA! it all opend up. Thanks!
