Re: ProTools WISH LIST

One more thing I’d like to add.

The ability to Bounce to multiple files based on the output paths of tracks. I.E. When multiple output paths are used on various tracks (say tracks 1,2 and 3 use...

Re: ProTools WISH LIST

A couple things I would like to see are:

User defined color coding of tracks in both the mix and edit window. It would sure help the bix mixes to be able to assign colors to the tracks. I'd...

Re: 6.1 dual KILLS amp plug-in support

Ok, thanks to the help of Richard at Digidesign Tech, who pointed out my blunder, AmpFarm is working now. I had the wrong version installed. DOH! So I retract my flame of Digi on that one and lower...

Re: 6.1 dual KILLS amp plug-in support

Peter-

Unfortunately that doesn’t work either. I don’t think I did a very good job of explaining why this scenario doesn’t work above.

Track “Synth” is receiving its input from the 888 (my...

Re: 6.1 dual KILLS amp plug-in support

Rail,

I’m sorry but this doesn’t work for me. I created the two stereo tracks (“synth” and "record") On “synth”, I inserted my plug-in (Amplitube) and set its output to busses 1&2. The input is...

Re: 6.1 dual KILLS amp plug-in support

I’m sorry, I’m feeling kind of dumb at this point, but could you explain in more detail how I do what you propose? As I have found, RTAS plug-ins will not work on Aux tracks, and I’m not sure I...

6.1 dual KILLS amp plug-in support

I am typically a tolerant poster on these forums, but this time my patience has run thin!

Seeing that PT 6.1 now supports multi-processor systems for Windows XP, and since Digidesign lacks the...

Re: PCI slot compatibilty

Ok, I think I figured this out. I was wrong about the 32bit PCI slots being 5V only. It would seem that the standard is to make slots that can either be 5V or 3.3V. See this link for more PCI...

Re: iLok Authorizations

Tech support tells me that version 6.1 for Windows will be available mid summer. I guess (as usual) Windows Mix users will just have to wait.

Re: iLok Authorizations

Mike,

Could you confirm whether or not we have to wait for PT 6 for Windows to be released before we can transfer our existing authorizations over to our iLoks?

Paul,

Incite seems to have the problem pretty well under control. They sent me a couple of OMF files to test, one with embedded audio and one without embedded audio. The embedded file opened just...

Re: OMF Parsing errors

Paul,

Incite asked me to ask you guys why you don't use Win Locators as Windows applications should be able to handle them.

Re: Dual Video Monitor Support for TDM?

I just want to add that the biggest limitation to PT on dual Monitor setups is that the edit and mix windows are children of PT. So, if say you wanted the edit window up on one monitor and the mix...

Re: When is Digidesign going to support MasterList CD for Windows?

Cap'n-

We're not asking for the world here, we're just asking that a $10,000 "professional" program cover the basics that even a few hundred dollar "non-professional" program can. I don't think...
