Genius! If I read you right, I can make templates for every frame rate and have a recorded audio timecode track at the top. Just pull the audio file into the appropriate session, spot it into place...

is there a way to pull into PT a wav with embedded timecode and extract the timecode as a mono audio file? sorry if this is covered somewhere, i can't seem to find it. i want to pull in an interview...

I joined up with a co-op studio space and the guy I hooked up with has a 002 rack with the now old school power harness issue. Mine has been fixed a while back but he was just pulling it and cleaning...

orig EAS Inspector XL and 7.3.1 on intel macbook pro?

just did a new install of 7.3.1 on my macbook pro 2 ghz running 10.4.9, tried twice and the inspector XL plugs are not showing up - assuming i really do need the $20 RN upgrade for intel's despite...

i just bought a tascam hd-p2 for recording field audio and my thinking was to record 24 bit 96k all the time and supply 16 bit 48k converted files to clients when necessary, hopefully using a batch...

i agree with georgia, we also keep everything on except for CPU's and tube pre's. CPU's we just restart and rest at the login screen overnight (displays off), and the tube pre's get a turn-on 1/2 hr...
