Any chance to get this working in PT 12 buying second hand? I would need firmware and relevant software which I don't think would come with it. I see, and understand, that Cedar doesn't support it...

Is there a way to "show only assignments to" of a certain send and returns from the console? The option is available when you right click on a send output.

I have a client who needs to record a VO hopefully tomorrow in Carlsbad. He would also need a phone patch. Can anyone recommend a studio? Any chance to record this Sunday?

Really love spill zones! It was a great release for sure. It does seem like the flip faders feature is barely implemented and not the way you probably want it. Still i'm very happy with this...

Does anybody know of a studio in Duluth, MN? ISDN would be great, but if not a phone patch or Skype could work. Unfortunately, Minneapolis is too far away.

Thanks. I've been powering down, but not from the wall. I'll have to switch the power supply its connected to. It would be nice if they had an auto load setup for layouts... I'm so lazy.

Do you all shutdown the S6 at the end of each day? What is recommended? It would be nice to not have to load the layout setup every day.

Well put and I agree with most of what your saying. Sorry if I offended anybody. I definitely see your point. I would hope Avid can make good with the promise of a faster more stable update path...

It would obviously have to be a new fader module, and I don't think i'd be willing to buy a new one just for that... but, I too seem to have trouble getting use to that. I'm only a few weeks on it,...

I just did the "blue" update, got rid of the Pro Control for a fancy S6. HD3 for an HDX2. Was it worth it? Oh yeah! Its not the same as a sw update though. I think your confusing them?

Or maybe what we charge clients? There has been a lot of cheap work around since I started... and it hurts a lot more than 600 a year! Sorry if thats too much your not charging enough.

Good arguments. But assuming they can fix and implement better things faster with the new model, I'm for it. It's a very cheap support plan in my opinion.

+1 The pro control use to have a Master Fader button that cycled All, Master, VCAs. I found it useful to bring all VCAs up on the faders at once.

Our editors use dynamic linking between AE and Premiere. They don't edit video in AE as far as I know. I can't imagine they would edit long segments in AE, that would be painful. So worst case...
