Re: Delaying subscription renewal by 1 day?

As long as you're 100% sure that would work great. I'd hate to miss the day and then have to repurchase perpetual. Do I need to contact support or simply go into my account and renew as you usually...

Is there any thought behind why you still have EIST and speedshift turned on or did you just leave them on auto for the hell of it?

Also I'm not sure about Ring Ratio, I left mine on...

Re: Windows 10 Key - Alternative Marketplaces

It was my understanding that these 'cheaper' keys are legitimate? They are just surplus keys from various countries that sell them cheaper?

I hear about the Ebay route quite a bit, and have no...

1.) Is a key from kinguin going to be as legit/bug free as a key directly from microsoft?

2.) Whats the difference between a...

Best current "Advanced Tutorial" for PT 2020

Don't get me wrong, I've been exclusively using Pro Tools since 2013 and know it very well.....for what I use it for; which happens to be very "in the box" based midi production. I produce Midi...

Re: Editing this 9900k build to be suitable for a 10900k.

Care to elaborate?

What are the rest of your specs? Which VIs?

I ended up going with the 10700k, 128gb of DDR4 CL 16 RAM.

Re: With SSDs becoming mainstream can pro tools now be on the main OS boot drive?

I may be taking the term "glued" too literally but what's stopping me from just putting in a new m.2 drive if the system SSD fails? Its just held in by a screw?

Im sure I'm missing something haha.

Re: With SSDs becoming mainstream can pro tools now be on the main OS boot drive?

Oh yah I definitely have backups that I haven't mentioned - I just expect most people assume everyone backs everything up as they should be haha.

Losing the sessions wouldn't be a big deal as...

Re: i7 Builds - Specs and Results

I remember you saying that before now. I got brainwashed by all of the benchmark videos. The Plus seems to blow the regular 970 out of the water if going by those? Or is it already at such a high...

Re: i7 Builds - Specs and Results

Re: i7 Builds - Specs and Results

So torn now, lots of people were telling me 750w is overkill lol. PcPartsPicker estimates my wattage at 510w. If I overshoot by 20% that still leaves me an extra 150w with the EVGA?

Plus its a...

Re: Finally finished designing my Pro Tools PC Build - Feedback?

Oh yah I'll have plenty of random external back up drives. Wasn't counting those as they don't really have anything to do with performance.

Re: Editing this 9900k build to be suitable for a 10900k.

Is your corsair Rmx750 psu working good with the LG1200 boards? Pcpartspicker told me it was missing some pins...
