You only have two outputs - monitor left and right.

Set your output path from all tracks to output 1 (Monitor output left). Monitor in mono. Make sure your master fader is patched output 1 only.

All pink noise an approximation. It's a function of which particular "pinking" filter design or algorithm is applied to random noise.

Lucky for us, it doesn't matter what brand of noise you use...

If you don't mind the two mics being the same level you can use a passive combiner - the reverse of a Y-split. Two female XLR to male jack out wired in parallel.

Sorry, your point just missed the mark. The files were always recoverable unless somebody deleted them.

There's no bug in Protools that deletes your files. Occasionally they end up where you don't...

Can you clarify what you mean by *gone*.

Check your disk allocation. Where are the files supposed to be?

Check the files full path in the region bin. Look there. Find anything?
