Did you ever fix this? I have the same problem where the sound becomes unusable after i start and stop playback a few times. I can make it go away by changing buffer settings but then it comes...

can't believe you use sibelius editor in protools. i find it to be the most annoying thing on the planet.

thanks, it was the mix knob. it has to be turned to the right to allow only signal from protools and none from the monitor. thanks for your help
