so if i wanted to maximize all 64, i'd have two HD I/O plugged in to the native card directly, and two more HD I/O daisy chained to the first two? is that the right configuration?

pretty sure i just have it set up with the default. and i'm on HD, so there should be a lot available! but that is a great suggestion. i will try to delete a couple and see if that by chance solves...

Sometimes, but not always, when using the SEND or BUS to TRACK option, it will assign the output (and input, on the track you're sending TO), but the paths will be greyed out and inactive. Anyone...

SAFE button is not engaged. And when I'm on the controller lane for the send level, with automation enabled, it is NOT registering any movements that I make.

So weird! I've done this 1000 times...

i've tried switching the hw buffer settings. nothing really changed. i tried going to 4 cores to completely isolate one of the processors (thats what i had to do in 7.4), but that didnt really help...

ah! i figured it out.

for anyone else who runs into this problem, use the "move song start" function in "time operations" menu. make sure you select "bars" and make sure you click the check box...
