Well, you can't.

At least I can't, on any of the 5 pro tools rigs available to me. With version numbers ranging from 2018.10 to present.

Can someone confirm they can recall a clip preset while...

We are having the same issue: with 1-5 still on zoom focus, Control+command+number used to recall a clip effects preset.

Does anybody know how to recall the presets while retaining zoom focus?...
