I had the same issue when installing the PT 9.05 update. (on a Win 7 laptop)
PT 9,9.02,9.03 all installed fine prior to this.

Now this makes 2 sessions. completely different sessions, same problem - protools hangs when "reading overviews" at session load.

Liquid mix ROCKS. I use it with my 002/7.3 system.
Liquid mix comes with its own vst-rtas wrapper and works with PT. Check the focusrite site for more details.

- workspace - recalculate waveforms
- defragging the...

Plug in veiwing preferences not saving in 7.3

I have noticed that since installing 7.3, every time I launch Pro tools, my preference to veiw plugins as Category/manufacturer resets itself back to plain old category.
