Re: 003 + built in pre amps.

Nope, Tom is correct. The line inputs still go through the built-in preamps.

From the Connectivity section on the RedNet3 page...
• Word Clock input via BNC port
• Word Clock output via BNC port

Re: Suggestions on removing "pick click"?

I ran into this with an acoustic guitar player this past month as well, and had excellent results using Izotope RX (Declicker).

The default settings actually took care of everything on this...

Re: Can I run external effects in realtime through the 003?

Just one other aspect to keep in the back of your mind is that each time you go in and out of "the box" you are going through another conversion process.

So, unless you have some really nice...

and all of them will sound better than the...

I think what products7074740 is saying (if I'm reading him correctly), is that he has already drawn in the volume automation, and wants to print it.

One way to do this would be...

Re: To all noobs

That link is awesome, Albee.

Re: Is Strike really this hard to use?

Strike's really easy to use... once you get your head wrapped around it.

It uses MIDI notes to trigger the patterns. So you can record (or draw in with the Pencil tool) MIDI notes that essentially...

Re: Consildating Tracks and Fades / Edits

Re: Is 003 Factory acceptable for Audio Post?

I thought you wanted to mix in 5.1?

In which case, you need to make sure that your interface has enough outputs for each of your channels, right?
