The pre's on the 002 will be as good as the Presonus TubePre or BlueTube (neither of them are actual tube pre's, they are both starved plate designs),

Isn't "Ctrl + ." the keyboard command for aborting the bounce?

I will usually make either a duplicate track or a duplicate playlist before consolidating, that way I can go back to my original edits if I need to correct anything.
