Thanks, I just happen to have a HP with an AMD processor and seems it was one of the systems affected. I have installed HP's Fix and then SP3 and all seems well.

XP Service Pack 3 - Should I?

I was wondering if I should get Service Pack 3 or not. Has any one had any experience with it yet?

I should mention I am still using PTMP 7.1, but any input is welcome.

If I remember the demo didn't allow any saving or making permanent changes. Since processing either changes an audio file or creates a new file (depending on settings) disabling "Process" in the demo...

Officially Protools MP supports only one audio interface, but a few people have claimed to have success using 2 or more Delta 1010s.

Freeze? If this is like what Ableton Live has where it creates an audio file with effects added in order to free up processor cycles, you can do this in PT using audiosuite and playlist features.
