Well finally figured it out.

Pro tools 7.4 does not like "/" not only in the name of the video. You can't have a "/" any where in the path name.

The movie is Quicktime H.264, I've tried a new session as well as a previously created session.
Everthing works in PT7.3 but not when I upgrade to PT7.4.
The only way I found out to get it to work...

Dual 1.42 MDD, OS 10.3.9, Ptools 6.4.1, the d24 is g4 compatible and the DSP farm (not MIX) is REV QC.
This d24 has also worked on my Quicksilver 733 but ran a little sluggish.

To consolidate using the numeric keypad "3", you have to have your "Numeric Keypad Mode" on Protools prefs set to either,
Numeric or Transport Mode, it doesn't work when set to Shuttle.

I've had good luck with WavesRestoration Decrackle pluging. Set both sliders to max and process it a couple of times.
Not perfect but can make it usable.

They have fixed the veritcal syncing and audio

and it seems to work fine. Even with a DV movie.
The only thing I can't do is to have the card go to input.

Is my d24 G3/G4 compatible?

I have a d24/DSP farm in my 9600. The farm is compatible (rev QC) but how can I tell if the d24 core is G3/G4 compatible? images/icons/confused.gif
