How can I retrieve my Pro Tools 8?

I haven't touched my system in years and recently got a new computer. I remember like 3 years ago I bought pro tools 8 for like $150 if I believe from the website and it was a download.

I deleted the markers, but there is this like orange/yellow line with two dots on the side on the top of the pro tools session that is the selection marker & I do not know how to delete it.

I found out it's a selection marker that was created , how can I delete it so I can get the scroll bar moving.

I hit the enter key on my keyboard which created a marker, do not know how to delete it. Also since this happened my scroll bar does not scroll.


I'm using Pro Tools 8 , please help

002 power harness failure, Digi wont help me as my 002 rack is out of warranty....

10.5.5, I'm trying to revert back to 10.5.4 and hope this might give me a temp fix

I'm using mogami patch cables which are skinny and balanced and they sound fine :confused:

On my other monitors I have some thiker mogami cables which are 1/4 to xlr, honestly I hear no difference...

I have some near field monitors that are "ACTIVE" meaning they power themselves.

There seems to be a confusion on whether or not it is safe to use instrument cables or speaker cables ( 1/4)....

MCU Pro = Best way to use it for Pro Tools?

I hooked it up to my laptop via usb and placed it in hui mode, basic functions seem to work fine.

Does anyone with any experience with MCU PRO have any shortcuts, ideas, etc. that can help me out....
