yeah, my bad... that's what I meant to say. His reasoning behind converting down to 44.1 was that it sounded more "rock" and harder in the top end than 48... and yes he's mixing from his tools rig...

Just spent 2 weeks mixing with TLA, he dithers everything down to 44.1 before he starts mixing... interesting.:-)

They are cool, nice and fat, my go to for vocals. I would try and get one to demo if you can. The vintech's are pretty cool as well, I have 4 of the x73 and love them on rooms and piano etc
