Hey Darryl,
Playback engine was set to 'display audio', i changed it to 'built in output'. This fixed the problem.

Anyone have any ideas? Im using a 2011 Macbook Pro, running lion 10.7.1, could it be a bug with lion, or a setting on Pro Tools 9.0.5?

I used the download manager twice, and the normal safari downloader once, all three did the same thing. :(

Ok. i "repaired disk" in disk utility. "The volume Pro Tools Updater appears to be OK."

I then mounted it through Toast, it mounted properly, but then when i tried to install it, I got an error...

I did use wi-fi. But it would be to hard to connect ethernet to my imac, the router is on the other side of the house. :(

Unhappy Pro Tools 9.02 Update Image Data Corrupted.

I downloaded the 9.02 Update twice, and both times it said "Image data corrupted" as it tries to mount the DMG. :(

Any ideas why the download would get corrupted twice in a row from avid?
