That’s the thing - my mixers aren’t loud enough 😆! (I don’t do my own mastering.)

I have just found a workaround using Sonarworks SoundID Reference for system sound fed from the Core Audio output...

+1 to all of these, especially articulation control.

I would add node/breakpoint automaton for MIDI CC data, CC remapping and a sampler like Simpler in Ableton Live.

VSL has been AS native for a while now except for the Organ Player. Certainly VE Pro, Synchron Player, Harp and the Pianos are all native and work very well.

Answering my own question - the LCD-Xs are absolutely fine with Carbon and actually slightly louder than my old HD650s.

Thanks Dominic, my HD650s are fine so I should be good to go. They arrive tomorrow so I’ll soon find out! They are indeed for a second reference when mixing.

Are the headphone outputs of Carbon beefy enough to drive Audeze LCD-X headphones?

I would imagine they are but read somewhere that LCD-Xs are a difficult load.

I’m sure the UAD Tri-Chorus plugin will be AAX native at some point but in the meantime, if you’re after that super-lush 80s chorus, the Eventide Tricerachorus does the trick.
