That mix is from the sessions suposedly thats justa rough mix from when they were done for the day. If so no auto tune back then. The Cd came out today someone should look at the mix credit.

Perfect Circle,Strokes,and Radiohead was not mixed in the box
Strokes was done in logic in the first place

Actually I know at least 5 bands whose soundman put a click track and any sample for the set in PT and have all the automation moves done in PT. I watched it once and it was cool.

What do you run your PT and DAE Memory @?

Under the get info boxes for Pro Tools and DAE what is everyone using in the memory settings. I have a DP 500 and 256 RAM. Id be curious what your running at and how often your system crashes.

SMPTE lock up problem

So I run an SSD with Mix Plus on a 9600. I repeatedly now have had the problem that i can lock up PT to my 2" but then i go to rtecord with lock up and once it locks up it drops PT out of recording...

I work for a mastering house and i will tell you i dont know a single mastering engineer who would be happy to get a file with ANY peak limiting. They can doa better job themselves.

I would say if you put a peak limiter on your Master fade rin your Pro Tools mix and your doing something thats gonna be professionally mastered your mastering engineer is gonna wanna kill you and he...
