Seems if you run a interface with software DSP monitoring (RME FF800, UC, etc...) you can track at any buffer setting you like with no effects on the live monitoring.

Same problem here! I then uninstalled and reinstalled my Ilok 2 drivers, and then PT 9.0.5 would open. Well, it opened one time until I then rebooted and now it's dead again. Never had this issue...
